Rita is a doll baby and there's no other way to describe her. Mellow, friendly, cuddly, cute, lovable, companionable.

Okay, you get the picture. This little lady was turned in to a local kill shelter with her five tiny babies and pulled by Happy Cat Adoptions. The shelter staff didn't want to euthanize them--little Rita would pull the kittens to her and hold her arms around them when the staff came to the cage.

Such a wonderful mom, and it's true--kittens often get adopted, but the moms don't always. But Rita deserves a chance. She's such a sweety, so delightful when company comes, so happy with her new life at her foster home.
