Mia just looks like the kind of cat you want to cuddle on your lap and tickle her belly. She is gorgeous--a real decorator kitty. If you are familiar with tabbies, she is a "classic" tabby, with the bullseye markings on her side.

Mia is a soft brownish gray with contrasting black striping. Her fur is a soft longish fur, and she will likely be a medium to long hair kitty when she is fully grown.

She is inquisitive, but quiet and loving. When you're talking kittens--well, you have an idea of what their personality will be like, but of course, experiences can change personality a little. Mia looks to be the kind of kitten who wants to grow up to be cuddled and played with and snuggled.

Mia and her siblings are some of the lucky ones. Her mother was trapped as a feral cat and brought to Montgomery County Animal Shelter. She was on her one-week mandatory hold when she delivered her five tiny kittens. Rather than euthanizing mom and kittens, the staff attempted to find a rescue organization to take the little family. However, with mom as aggressive and feral as she was, it was a tough job. Happy Cat Adoptions stepped up and the tiny batch of fur was delivered to their new foster home, where they are growing in leaps and bounds.

Mia is up for "pre-adoption." What that means is you can fill out an adoption application, come to see her, and if this tiny charmer touches your heart, you can complete the adoption. When Mia is altered and vaccinated--at about nine weeks of age--she will be delivered to your waiting arms.
