Cairo, the exotic kitten in the litter, is a furry, fluffy, bundle of energy with the look of a tiny, fluffy black bear. He's not destined to be the ruler of a foreign country, but you can tell he's destined for greatness, size-wise, that is.

Cairo and his siblings, with two other kittens, were dropped off at the side of the road in a carrier one night. By the next morning, they were dehydrated, frightened, and covered in their own waste. Luckily for them, one of our Happy Cat Adoptions volunteers found them and cleaned them up and rescued them.

Cairo is totally a play cat, like most kittens, and loves to roughouse with his siblings and the two kittens abandoned with them.  His favorite toy so far is a brightly colored Mylar crinkle ball. He will surely be the ruler of an army sent to capture these crinkly balls and bring them back to his hiding place in his bed.

Cairo is initially available for pre-adoption. He will be ready to go to his new home at 13 weeks, because kittens need to learn socialization skills. If you are interesting in adopting two kittens, or have a current nurturing cat, talk to us about an earlier adoption. But right now, come and visit the little fluffy bear and decide if he's the one you want to curl up next to you on the sofa. If you do, you can sign the  contract and pay the adoption fee, and once he's altered and recovered, he will be at your doorstep.

The adoption donation for Cairo is $125.00, which helps Happy Cat Adoptions rescue more cats and kittens and offer them for re-homing. This donation is non-refundable and tax-deductible. Happy Cat Adoptions is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, and donations are always welcome. Or sign up for one of the giving programs such as iGive or iSearch, which offers you a no-fee way to support our work.

To visit little Cairo, go to his webpage at www.happycatadoptions.org and click the adoption link under his photo in order to fill out the online application form. Remember, we are all volunteers with full-time jobs, so we will make every effort to contact you and your references immediately, but it may be a couple of days.
