Anara is the absolute lovingest cat you've ever seen, and she's smart as a whip too! And, not to mention, she's gorgeous. Anara has a very slight resemblence to the Abyssinian breed, and although definately not anywhere near a purebreed Aby, she has some of the characterstics: incredibly intelligent, good problem solver, and full of an insatiable curiosity.

Anara was on Death Row; her number was almost up, when her foster mom came to the Animal Control for a meeting and went home with Anara and Ronan the Red.

Nothing gets Anara down for long, though, and she's just happy as a clam despite her inquisitive little face.

Anara's looks are tabby, but you can plainly see by her elegant body lines that she has royalty in her blood somewhere.

If you're looking for a really loving companion, someone who will always stand by your side and love you, that's Anara. She's looking for someone just like that too. Anara is not fond of other cats. Despite the other foster cats at her foster home, Ronan the Red comes the closest to a cat friend that she has. She just basically wants all the love, all the attention, and all the petting. Period.

Did we mention she is a little jealous? She tolerates other cats, but she really wants her humans to herself. She would be great as an only cat, or as one of just a few cats in a home.

Did we mention how extremely intelligent Anara is? She will go to great lenths to figure out how to get the tasty morsal from YOUR dish to her mouth or paw. And when you say, "No, Anara," she gets the most irritated little princess look on her face.
